I have been away from the laptop for just under a week and arrive online to see this. Okay, so it’s a little different. These are not pieces I would force my own little doll to wear, but kudos to Stardoll for just trying something a little different. They cannot forever produce Dior inspired floor length gowns or Gucci Tributes – I think that would become very tedious. I think the only one-piece suit I’ve ever owned was when I was an infant. They’re very popular in the UK for lounging in at the weekends, but that is all I know.
Altogether there are eight one-pieces, all in a wide variation of styles and also paired with accommodating slippers. At 15 Stardollars a pop, it does not convince me to go out and buy one. However the bunnies one-piece reminds me a lot like Cinnamorrol – despite being a dog.

Furniture that is available for everyone! Rejoice! Of course this isn’t going to be something extravagant – hence Basics in the title – however I think they’ve done the job well. I have to admit, the prices are a little steep here and there. Being a non-enthusiastic decorator I would have no clue what to do with these items, but I’m sure those talented members out there will figure out to do some jazzy things.
Yes I am still alive. Regarding the recent posts and messages I have been receiving: I am not leaving. I’ve just recently become tired of the entire entity that is Stardoll – and all magical things that it contains. Beforehand I used to treat Stardoll as a daily commitment, but now I will just decide to log in whenever I can or want to.
In the UK we use the New Year as an excuse to consume intolerable amounts of poison down our bellies. On Stardoll we open up a decor store. Only joking.
There are a lot of items within the two floors that can be easily placed within floors with no association with the new year. I think that’s lovely. I really like the interior, perhaps not enough to buy it, but nevertheless I tried searching for it within the Suiteshop to no avail. We’re a big fan of windows on Stardoll, I have to admit, and these are a slightly variation from that of the New York floors. That being the window is slightly open. The Bowler Lamps are adorable, if they came with portable moustaches too.
Altogether I do not honestly think it blends well together as an entity together. However, counting each item individually, I am sure they will brighten many suite rooms. I try my hardest to write these decor posts, but being extremely non-enthusiastic over my suite decorations I cannot say much.
Thanks for the NCG today, and once again, apologies to those who were campaigning on the day. One more thing, I think someone has bloody well cracked it! Thank goodness, I never thought we’d get there after numerous posts on the Starblog.
It’s the height of Stardoll luxury. Oh boy do those price tags make my voice croak.
Once in a blue moon will I attempt to decorate my suite, so to place my opinion out there is like whispering in a stadium of ten thousand. However just because one does not necessarily delve into the field of decorating, does not mean they cannot appreciate the hard work that is evidently placed into these graphics.
So for all those cake lovers, chess enthusiasts, jewel haulers and bathroom loungers – you’s are in for a real treat. Being the immature git, I sat and had a little chortle over the “Golden Throne”. They’ve used an object from everyone’s daily lives and taken a classic spin on it. If we cannot have a golden throne of our own, then why not treat our dolls to one?
The colour scheme just screams splendour and extravagance, from the Chelyabinsk Staircase to the Pillars. I probably won’t buy anything in the future, but if I had a few spare stardollars in my little pouch and an interest in decorating, I am sure you could find a piece of Opulence to fit at least two of your rooms.
Tests this week so this blog maybe a bit lacking plus I am ever so drained of energy and motivation. Sorry to all the chaps on Chat, I just do not feel like talking.
For some strange reason I am not feeling the LE “hype” that customarily follows the run-up to a collection i.e. the spoilers being released and the aftermath. Personally I prefer the Limited Edition clothes collection far more than to the Decor. The Decor items are wonderfully executed, but I dislike decorating my Suite to such a high degree. I am a little uncertain with the concurrent theme, somewhere between the lines of modern furniture and wildlife?
We all love a little animation in our suites, so it’s no wonder why the elevator had completely sold out by the time I reached the store. It’s a lot to pay for one item of furniture, but I am sure everyone can agree that a lot of effort has went into creating such a piece. Small LE printed items have also been a hit with the members. The cute teency bottles, candles and books were priced at 30 and 20 Stardollars a pop. I would have liked to get my mitts on the bottles, but small labeled items like those listed above tend to sell out the quickest. It shows that we all (well the majority) want a piece of LE, no matter how large or small. LE’s prices can verge on absolute absurdity, yet most members of Stardoll still buy into it – including myself.
The interiors this time round are very modernistic and refined If it weren’t for their prices I would have bought them both. I was going to say that they were half the price in March, yet sadly my old posts prove me to be incorrect. I honestly do not know why I bothered buying the previous interiors then. It’s stylish and all, but these days you can’t be too reckless with your Stardollars. There’s bound to be a limited edition-type store around the corner sometime soon.
It has a very creepy and unsettling atmosphere to it all. To me, it’s a little early for Halloween. Zombie Time, now this and no doubt the Tingeling Halloween Couture will be released sometime soon. Don’t get me wrong, Halloween is the best day of the entire year (well for me, at least) but when people start putting their Christmas trees out in October or start getting their Trick-or-Treating costumes ready in the summer, I think the occasion loses its pizzaz and sparkle.
If money was of no object then I would certainly purchase a handful of the items within the store. Sadly it isn’t and yes, I may like some items although because of the price-tag I do not foresee myself buying any of the objects. They’re of great graphical quality, but I am not willing to pay 20 Stardollars for a Bureau at this specific moment in time.
The titles of the items are not even the slightest bit intimidating. Undead Candlestick? Dust Prime Past Armchair? It’s a nice try giving these items another dimension, but I’m not feeling it. When saying that, I’m just not a Suite Decorator.
I am almost certain that those set of headphones were released for a recent sale early this summer. I would like to see older Starplaza items being released, even jewellery. It’s hard enough that a Starbazaar hasn’t been released for Make-up and Jewellery. I like the items, they’re a lot more edgy and not just a bunch of plain clothing that Stardoll has wacked back into Starplaza. My favourite items are the two pairs of shoes with the over-the-knee socks connected. Prices are steep.
How very exquisite indeed.
I was just having a browse through the store and I cannot find any items that I dislike or think that the graphical quality or design could have been improved. There’s something in this store for everyone. I don’t see all the items working together as one entire room as it would seem a little miss-matched, but if you take individual items or group of items you could almost easily decorate a room- with a specific theme – without a moment’s notice.
The prices did make me look twice. I suppose one could say that Opulence is a “luxury brand” on Stardoll. It’s just becoming very expensive in today’s current climate to buy all this fancy furniture from Starplaza and Suiteshop. It’s no wonder why members result into using proxy servers to receive free items.
The interior is also available to purchase through Suiteshop at a price of 30 Stardollars. I miss those days where you could buy a decent interior for around 15 Stardollars. Well the amount of Stardollars we receive goes up within a package, and so does the prices in Starplaza and Suiteshop.
Once again I spoke to soon.
As Stardoll previously tweeted, the Minimalism decor store has been released today. The first floor includes all the new items that have been added to the Minimalism brand. Some are very interesting and I would consider buying a few of the items if it were not for the heavy price-tags.
One the things that puts me off decorating my Suite is the amount of Stardollars it takes to extensively decorate one room. I would be more satisfied with spending that amount on buying a few dresses and what not. The Berry Cake Bed sounds delicious, looks great but costs 25 Stardollars. The Stacked Glass Table reminds me of the LE Decor collection yet in comparison only costs 15 Stardollars. Overall the graphics are great but the prices, for me personally, is what really lets it down.
