I made this after creating the Leopard Print Liner, however between the two there was no other connection than with the experimental liner so I made the other two animal inspired looks in its place.
I am off school just for today so a new tutorial might be made as I already have this recorded and ready to be edited so we can all relax on the weekend.
I hope you’s all have a lovely day whether you are attending school, work or are like me – lounging around your house in your pyjamas.
This was a little unexpected. While having a look around I think a handful of items from Dior were of a better standard than the “bad nuts” of Monday’s Limited Edition collection.
I doubt the headpieces from Dior will be the next DVF bows, but there are some very unique sorts that Stardoll has provided our dolls with – some far more wearable than others. Overall, I think the Dior items will be more suited to layered outfits as they have a bold design, but lack texture and a third dimension. Also in the mix are strong pieces of statement necklaces and fancy earrings. Filled with a mixture of bold colours, these pieces really make the collection stand out – especially from the more conventional Chanel.
Items such as the Gift Wrapping Dress and Pastel Wave Jacket almost jump out of the screen and grab your attention. They’re not the type of clothing that we usually find in Starplaza and perhaps slightly more “wackier” in a sense than your traditional mac or pastel-coloured dress, but they can really boost or be centred round an outfit if you get your tones and layers right.
The skirts this time round are of a far shorter length than say to Lanvin’s, probably not to such a high graphical standard but nevertheless still as pleasant. The shoes are below par, but when you have a gigantic cone of your head I don’t think you want a pair of intricately designed shoes to distract attention away from your head.
Prices are decent, especially the accessories, and ranges from 4-34 Stardollars. Not too bad for a Holiday Tribute, I have to say.
I hope you enjoyed the tutorial.
I actually forgot how editing three different clips could differ from only two. The Scorpion look is the easiest of them all. I chose Black & Red (reference picture had a red stinger) although you can choose any dark and lighter colour as you wish. The same goes towards the Leopard print liner. You can create a modern twist and instead use blues or pinks etc.
Rumour has it that LE is being released tomorrow. So far all those who wish to snag a piece, the collection in the past has usually been released between 1-3pm GMT. If you want to stack up on Stardollars the now is a good time due to the deals that are currently on offer.
I have been addicted to Korean Pop for a while now. Not just Girls’ Generation, I hasten to add. I’m not going to nag on about it because I know how extremely irritating it is. I’ve seen the chaos of SHINee that trails on my friend’s Facebook walls, much to their annoyance. I was excited to view the MV for “Trouble Maker” after the dramatic performance at the MAMA 2011 ceremony. So here is a small and very simple make-up look inspired by one of many HyunA’s looks within the MV.
This is not the actual MV, but I was almost falling off my chair watching this reaction video.
Disclose the fact that the Medoll looks nothing like HyunA. This is not a lookalike tutorial.
The eye make-up only requires three products. Black Kohl Liner, Black Liquid Liner and Black Eye-shadow – which can all be found in Starplaza as I type. Altogether it accumulates to 14 Stardollars. I believe there is so much more you do with three products that just applying everything all over.
First step: Apply Black Kohl Liner around the outer corners of the eye and half of the waterline.
Second step: Apply Liquid Liner around the previous placement of the Black Kohl Liner and a thin line across the entire waterline. I did not include this within the screenshots – but also apply around the upper lashline. As below.
Third step: Apply Black Eye-shadow around and below the entire outer corners within a thin layer. This is supposed to be a light coating.
Fourth step: Apply more Black eye-shadow around the Kohl liner along the waterline and the outer corners of the eye in only a few small strokes.
A little more advanced look
Treat it as an almost “under wing” After reading the previous steps, I hope this set is far more self explanatory.
No, it isn’t the greatest make-up look in the world. After reading the comments I received from the Starblog, where I think members are far more brutally honest over the quality of videos, and people spoke of “She needs to be careful. Not everyone has the same amount of make-up” or something along the lines of that particular phrase. So I’ve been trying to come up with new ways of creating of noticeable yet simple make-up look with a small range of make-up to little success.
This will not be turned into a video format as I do not believe it requires to be shown on such a media. Snapshots seems fitting to go together with a simplistic make-up look.
One of the many magnificent wonders of our world and how it is formed. Credit goes to the makers of the two videos.
I tried following my old tutorial – without tampering the looks – and I have to say, it was a pretty tough job – especially due to the lack of quality within the video. I remember when I first created it that it stayed on my doll for quite some time. Good ol’ times.
I’d love to create a re-make of a lot of old looks for an anniversary tutorial, however whether or not it would be appealing, I highly doubt it.
Just something I thought I could share today with you folks amidst all this LE and updates. Good morning!
