Stardoll- My verdict part 3

Yay! Ive finally come to a time where i can write this, i think its been quite a while since i wrote Part 2 so im very sory if you’ve been waiting ages for this, but thanks to everyone who’s read these verdicts (about an odd of 300 peeps). So right now im in my bedroom, bored and tired, also on animal-lovers reading an amazing story and also debating about wearing fur. What a day!!! one thing, when i was typing up Part2 i had an amazing idea for Part 3 and now ive forgotten, i hate it when that happens!!!! Boo hoo, i cant remember, so sorry if it seems a bit on the rough side.

Hackers/scammers/liers, you get the picture! Whats the big deal about these people. Stealing clothes, stardollars, befriending people and REAL peoples money is the lowest of the low on a PIXEL SITE!!! You sometimes i was on the verge of doing this, but that was a long long long time ago and im glad i didnt. One thing, well actually 2 things that drives these people to do this. RARES & MONEY. You see, people look at all the popular people elites and blibby blobby people, and they all have Real celeb clothes, very rare clothes like DKNY, loads of starpoints, lottery dresses and then you think, why cant i have that too? Of course it feels great having something that people cant have that they crave for. I know ive covered having hotbuys and such and such but this is a MASSIVE deal on stardoll. This important topic is the REASON most of girls go on stardoll. their on the search for clothes, searching everywhere, trading and buying. Weird thing is, when you first join stardoll never says anything about hacking, scamming and trading at all. why not? Its an important issue that people forget, but why? is it so stardoll get more money. people have payed thousands and thousand of stardollars for Scuba or Real celeb clothes just for mabye 1 piece of clothing, the more stardollars you buy the more you spend. Then once you have all your stardollars, you spend it all then you buy again and this is what i call the stardoll life cycle. A bit weird ain’t it, but enitrely true.

Now this is gonna be a long long topic.

BLOGS!!!!

Now ive had mines since the end of september, but now its IN to have a blog. Ive searched on google “Stardoll blogs” and guess how many results it came up with: 1,950,000

Now that it a massive number, I also checked up my username and it came up to 9 pages of my blog/youtube videos hehe

Now you may think its cool to have a blog, but its hard work. you think “oh well, she just types up a load of mumbo jumbo and makes it look nice. yeh, far from it!!!! First you’ve got to have some news, if you dont, your screwed and your blog aint gonna go no where, no news = no blog, simple pimple

Pictures, if you dont know how to take a snapshot and are really bad at descibing things then your also scewed

Time, you cant just have a blog then dont post for about a month, you also cant handle a blog if you only go on it once a month. you’ve got to be active most of the time, i know i have my moments one week my blog has got loads of posts next week hardly any.

Responsability, no one can handle your blog except from yourself, unless your writing with a group of friends which isnt the case for me. Youve also got to be careful what you say, i mean ive had to edit a few posts becuase of me and my big fat gob.

New news, may sound stupid but you’ve got to have new stories that no one else has had before. If you have old news like monacre stuff, people already know that already so whats the point on posting it when everyone aint bothered about it, its a waste of blogging. Thats why Spoiler posts and blogs are really popular these days.

stay on the subject, you have to be able to keep on the subject of your blog. My blog is about news, cheats and that but i ban gossip away from my blog, so thats my subject of my blog, so ive got to stay clear away from gossip (not like im into it anyways). You cant just say your blog is going to be about stardoll cheats and then suddenly your talking about gossip.

Think, and finally. you know you’ve got to put some effort into it, you may think “i wanna start a blog”, the gather a group of friends, make a blog and then you feel “I dont want this anymore”. Youve got to think about it in the long term, right now i could turn right away from this blog and delete it, if i wanted, (dont worry, i wont) but i could cause i could say “Im fed up, i havent got any time to do this anymore”, and if that was the case why did i start this thing in the first place if i wasnt going to have enough time to post.

So there you have it, loads of facts about blogging, looks easy sounds easy but it isnt, i think its more like an online diary and youve got to keep track of everything and its also a little bit of a challenge but i think ive got used to it.

So here the facts again

1. have good news

2. Learn how to make snapshots

3. Have time to write on your blog

4. responsabilty of keeping the blog in shape

5. new news, people dont wanna hear old news

6. stay on the subject of your blog

7. Think about having a blog in the long term

 

If your deciding on having a blog, then great! but youve got to have something at least special about it.

Remember you cant just say “This blog is a blog in the view of an non-elites way”, there is tons of blogs out there saying that right now, instead create a new unique blog, that what i like to think about mine

New years/Eve Dress (DKNY)

Ok, so there is this big disscusion on one of the clubs, there is going to be a gold dress from DKNY FREE if u log on, on new years day or new years eve WHICH IS TOMORROW

Now when i saw the pic, i was shocked!!! THE DKNY DRESS, I HAD ALREADY POSTED IT!!! take a look at my older post “FRock Fest SPOILERS 2009″ and its there!!!! Obviously i didnt know it was DKNY but it kinda made sense.

Looks/most worn

Sadly enough i made a teeny tiny survey for 1 day. Going on different peeps stardolls. And i saw everyone mostly wears the same things so here are the most worn looks:

 

 

This look, with the short hair, hair accersories, no earings, a frown, lots of false eyelashes, different coloured highlights, dark eyeshadow and mabye a beauty spot.  I spotted lots of girls with this hairstyles although i didnt record how many. Im not too sure why it is that quite popular. Mabye the haircut is quite edgy but im still unsure.

This other look with long wavy hair, pouty mouth, dangly earings, high eyebrows, sleek eyeliner and eyeshadow gives a nice class and sleek way of  looking.  I can definatly see why people use this haircut, it gives of the sense your quite high-class, posh or mabye rich infact or mabye thats just how i feel about it. This look has to be the 2nd most used haircut.

 

This look with 1250 starpoint hair, sunglasses, long eyelashes, peachy coloured lips and tanned skin is one of the most popular looks of all time. I think it gives a sense of mabye sunny glamour, like a holiday.

 

This look has boy-cropped hair, big eyes, lots of dark eyeshadow and eyeliner, earings, beauty spot and shiny lips is certainly becoming more popular among stardollers. Its kinda like agness deyn look but not punky more glam. usually stardoll users use lots of fake eyelashes piled together but i only have 1 set on my account so i just used dark eyeshadow to make up for it.

2008 Stardoll Review- Part one

I thought at the end of the year i should do a review of the year, but sorry if i dont have enough snapshots. Ive been searchin everywhere on my blog for old photos

Btw i could do from the start of the year to the end cause ive forgotten EVERYTHING, so sorry if its a bit scratchy

 

Summer:

I had been off for a while on stardoll so i was jus starting to get used to it again. Anyways, people were still looking for rares and hotbuys and in the summer i got my first pair of really really rare stuff, yes the Scuba and Ruffle skirt for only $55 and $45. That was in the summer and now 5 months later people are paying $1000 stardolars for all i know, such such ashame. i mean its virtual clothes, what do you gain? Those were my happy days, before i got hacked. I just figured out at that time i had one of the rarest bags on stardoll, Patchwork. i had it since i started stardoll though i never knew it was quite popular. I hadnt seen anyone around at that time with the bag since its been around since 2006. Anyways stardoll was fairly usual and i think at also at that time broadcast was first introduced, corect me if i am wrong. I just remember when it first came out, there was lots of disscussions on how it wasnt fair and it was a rip-off. I think my first ever broadcast message was “Hi plz look at my suite”. i laugh at myself all the time.

Also durig that season MonthlyGiftClub was introduced, you know now hardly anyone talks about it anymore. Anyways the more memembers it got the more gifts it gave out. It gave out like bags, trousers, skirts ect.

The club and stardoll was sponsered by Pearl Tampax. The club was just like an ordinary club although full of disscusions about “girl” problems and how about that boys could not join the club. i didnt really enjoy going on the topics in monthlygiftclub. they reached over 3 million memebers then suddenly the club vanished. Stardoll gave no warning about how it was going to go, until i contacted stardoll and they said that the sponsershiped ended and that was that, i posted it on my blog and got over 300 hundred views of it.

the start of this blog, was kinda weird thinking of it. I didnt really write anything i just posted pictures. You know to think that i started this blog in september which was was 3 months ago, 3 MONTHS!!! Its weird now because its just december and ive already got regular readers. You i like to think my blog if different to others. Most people who do blogs now are “populars or elites”. Im not being sad or rude or anything but i dont really know any blogs that aren’t run by famous peeps that are popular with stardoll members or mabye thats jus me and i dont look at other known blogs. Here is an extract from my first post;

Okay this is my first post!! I am really excited!!

So anyway-

Im just an ordinary girl on stardoll who is just really bored and ive decided for myself that i should make a blog. I know it sounds really stuiped but if everyone else can do it, i can too. I’m here just to proove you dont need to have 4 billion starpoints or 2 billion million stardollars to have a sucessful blog or have all the so called “elites” as your bestfriends or whatever. This blog is NOT going to be about “OMG she’s off her bestfriend list!! does that mean the magazine is over?” or “OMG!!! She has all the MKA RC and DKNY and has the best dress sense in the whole of stardoll!!” or somthing stuiped like that.This is going to be about Stardoll news,clothes and people who desevre attention that dont get it. I dont know why people have taken stardoll serouisly. sometimes i want to laugh my head-off at the people who write magazines on how to style your medoll and how to dress it. Let me say this once and once again IT IS VIRTUAL!!! Who cares if you DKNY or Vivenne Tam and other crap??? Not me!! People waste their whole month trying to write magazines on stardoll. It is a virtual game. I’ve been a member since 2006 and if somebody told me there was going to be magazines on how to dress your medoll i would think you were crazy and needed to go to a nut case house. So hoefully you will enjoy my blog and i will continue writing on this blog.

Wow, time flys by, you kow im thinking of joining blogspot altho im not too sure, could i give up this wordpress site for another, I’d need to think about it.

 

The change of starplaza also happened and it wasnt long ago, usually it was more, im not too sure how to put it, but more rectangly rather than squareish. I dont think i have any pics of it but if you’ve been on stardoll for a while now im sure you’ll know.

 

So there is the first part, im really sorry and i was hoping i could do it in one massive chunk but im kinda busy tonight.

My Free stardollars post seems really really popular and my blog is nearly on 5000 views yay!! I must say this year has been the best but im gonna save my review for the end of the month its gonna be called “Stardoll Review 2008″ and its gonna have loads of piccys and other stuff”
